Structural & Content Editing
The structure of your overall story is extremely important and can address certain aspects like if there are plot twists, or flashbacks that could help being more suspense and mystery.
Have you ever read a book with really long chapters or sections that weren’t very engaging, or you felt some of the content wasn’t needed? Are the chapters in the right order? Passive voice versus Dialogue? Showing vs telling? Identifying whether transitions, hooks, and filtering. Are needed.
As your editor my main focus would be to help you navigate through those difficult structural questions to help address alongside the developmental editing. Structural and Content editing falls between story editing and language editing.

Line Editing
As your editor, I would be extremely thorough in examining and correcting the following elements in your work:
Spelling
Grammar
Capitalization
Word usage and repetition
Dialogue tags
Usage of numbers or numerals
POV/tense (to fix any unintentional shifts)
Descriptive inconsistencies (character descriptions, locations, blocking, etc.)
Accuracy of factual information
Essentially, while developmental editing plays a huge part in addressing the overarching issues with your story, line editing looks at the more minute details.
My goal would be to ensure readers remain focused on the story and not the on any errors that would distract them.
Line editing is best performed after the manuscript has been content edited.

Yes, the contract management is tiered pricing based on the amount of contracts that would need be reviewed within the month. Our business development package is also tiered pricing and we would be happy to review them after the initial consultation meeting.

Our turnaround times will differ with each project and can depend on the service. Any deviations from the standard will be communicated or discussed with the author prior to officially booking the project. Lunar Rose tries to be as transparent as possible when a manuscript may need more work and time to polish.
